Abstract

The purpose of this study was to verify the level of effectiveness of a selected array of colleges of business through measurement of organizational effectiveness variables related to strategic management. We collected data from the deans of schools of business accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Business Schools (AACSB) to investigate the level of significant relationships among the organizational effectiveness variables and how these were significantly related to strategic management processes. Our findings show that the business schools perceived as “best” are more likely to follow the strategic management processes used by high-performing firms.
