Abstract
The commercial success of all artificial intelligence applications depends significantly on their ability to communicate with the currently existing data and applications environment. This article attempts to provide an overview of certain minimal requirements of both data processing and artificial intelligence applications and their implementation, which at least must be satisfied to achieve problem-free integration.
