Adriana N. Seagle

Dr. Adriana N. Seagle is Adjunct Professor of International Relations at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. A native of Romania, she received her M.A. and Ph.D. from Virginia Tech. Her research interests are theoretically framed by the English School and relate to the advancement of regional international society, intelligence sharing practices within military alliances, and the EU; Romanian politics; the Soviet Union and U.S.–Russia foreign policy. Dr. Seagle is currently reviewing the place of Russia and the U.S. in European international society; as well as exploring how regional intelligence sharing is an institution of diplomacy and political order in the contemporary international society.
