Robert W. Pringle
Robert W. Pringle, Jr., a retired Central Intelligence Agency and United States Foreign Service officer, later served as a CIA Officer in Residence and Adjunct Professor at the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce of the University of Kentucky, Lexington. A specialist on the Soviet Union and its former European satellite nations, he is the recipient of the CIA’s Career Intelligence Medal. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in Russian History from the University of Virginia.
