Breast cancer examination experience of medical students and residents

Abstract

A survey of fourth‐year medical students and residents at three institutions revealed a low experience in examining patients with primary breast cancer. Although the experience was low, there was high confidence in their ability to examine the breast. Changes in learning experiences are necessary.
