Pages 109-123 | Published online: 28 Jul 2009

Abstract

Cultural tourism is being developed in British Columbia, Canada to help address some traditional tourism problems. Three of the problems which are examined in this study are the authenticity of the product, seasonality, and the spatial redistribution of tourism activity. All three of these issues are addressed in recent examples of cultural tourism developments.
