Albania's Changing Tourism Environment

Abstract

With a distinctive historic culture, the Albanian people have experienced very mixed fortunes over the past century. This study aims to examine and exemplify the nature and position of Albanian culture in the country's individual tourism development processes, and to briefly evaluate the role of Albanian tourism as a model for development elsewhere.
