Abstract
Analysis of any new management concept or technology application must commence with an examination of the experts in the field. This study investigates the perceptions of information professionals concerning telecommuting's benefits and disadvantages to the employee, the organization, and the positions commonly found in organizations. The proliferation of telecommuting as an alternative work arrangement in the respondents' organizations is also examined.
