Abstract
The continued rapid evolvement of the World Wide Web and Web authoring tools has opened new opportunities to improve instruction. This article examines the implementation of a discussion web (DW) in a graduate course in Management Information Systems. The results of the study indicate that a discussion web can be used effectively to increase students' pre-class preparation, facilitate the discussion of key issues, and improve the quality of student presentations. Based on the authors' experience, recommendations are provided for successfully implementing this approach.
