Abstract
This article presents how educators can use the investment principle of buying low and selling high to design innovative training projects that would enhance students' hands-on learning and nurture their creative thinking. First, the application of the investment principle in designing innovative hands-on training projects is discussed. Second, a step-by-step approach to developing a Web-database application is presented with examples. Following the approach, students are able to develop, test, and manage an e-commerce site on their personal computers. Finally, the implications of this hands-on training project are discussed.
