Providing Technology Leadership for Restructured Schools

Abstract

Education Service Center—Region 20, San Antonio, Texas Abstract School leaders of tomorrow will face the challenge of combining human resources with emerging technologies to reshape our schools. Leaders in professional education and technology were invited to envision the role of technology in restructuring schools and to suggest experiences designed to prepare supervisors and administrators for technology leadership. Responses describing future schools, school leadership, and the involvement of technology in shaping learning experiences, roles and responsibilities of teachers, curriculum, organizational leadership and structure, and governance and funding of schools are discussed.
