ABSTRACT

The emergence of a new idea between people who are new to each other can ferment into a project of expressive writing towards the drafting of a poem. In the present case, three persons, from varying backgrounds, came together towards the primary purpose of working together to further the mission of a new nonprofit organization: One Earth Conservation. In the aftermath of the new connection a suggestion was made to write an asynchronous poem with the topic of nature. All three persons agreed and the poem began with each adding a new section then rotating around for the additional material with nothing being edited. When considered done it was suggested to write how the experience impacted each writer. This, too, was accomplished and then research added to complete the article with scholarly subject matter to combine with the poem.
