Rob Boddice is Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in the Department of History and Cultural Studies, Freie Universität Berlin, and Visiting Fellow, Department of Social Studies of Medicine, McGill University. He has published widely on the history of science and the history of emotions. His books include The Science of Sympathy: Morality, Evolution and Victorian Civilization (University of Illinois Press, 2016) and The History of Emotions (Manchester UP, 2018). He is currently a Marie-Curie Global Fellow. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 742470.
