Eden Medina
Eden Medina is Associate Professor of Informatics and Computing, Director of the Rob Kling Center for Social Informatics, and Adjunct Associate Professor of History at Indiana University, Bloomington. She is the author of Cybernetic Revolutionaries: Technology and Politics in Allende's Chile(2011), from which the following excerpt has been adapted, and co-editor of Beyond Imported Magic: Essays on Science, Technology and Society in Latin America (2014).
