Sharina Maillo-Pozo

Sharina Maillo-Pozo is a professor of Spanish and Latin American and Caribbean studies at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Her work has appeared in the edited volumes El sonido de la música en la narrativa dominicana: Ensayos sobre identidad, nación y performance (2013) and Nuestro Caribe: Poder, raza y postnacionalismos desde los límites del mapa LGBTQ (2016), as well as the journals Ciberletras, Contratiempo, and The Black Scholar.
