Lucy Cristina Chau (Panama, 1971) is a prize-winning poet, writer, and professor at the Universidad de Panamá. She is the author of three books of poetry—Mujeres o diosas (2011; Women or Goddesses), La casa rota (2009; The Broken House), La virgen de la cueva (2007; The Virgin of the Cave)—and a book of short stories, De la puerta hacia adentro (2011; Inside from the Door).
