Sergio Missana
Sergio Missana (Chile, 1966) is the author of seven novels, including Las muertes paralelas (Santiago, Chile: Seix Barral, 2010), from which the following excerpt is taken, El discípulo (2014; The Disciple), and Entremuros (2019; Within the Walls). He has also produced a collection of travel writing, a critical study of Borges, a book of essays, and co-authored five children’s books. He is a professor of literature in the Stanford University program in Santiago de Chile.
