María Inés [Mané] Zaldívar (Chile, 1953) is the author of seven books of poetry, including Década 1996-2006 (2009; Decade) and, most recently, Mano abierta (2018; Open Hand). Currently she is a professor and director of the Continuing Education and Extension program at the Facultad de Letras de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, in Santiago.
