Carmen Boullosa

Carmen Boullosa (Mexico City, 1954) is a novelist, poet, and playwright. She has taught at Georgetown University, New York University, and Columbia University. Author of many books, she has published most recently Hamartía o Hacha (2015; Hatchet, 2020), El libro de Ana (2016; The Book of Anna, 2020), and with Mike Wallace, A Narco History: How the United States and Mexico Jointly Created the “Mexican Drug War” (2015). Boullosa is a Distinguished Lecturer at Macaulay Honors College, CUNY.
