Mariela Dreyfus

Peruvian poet and translator Mariela Dreyfus has lived in New York City since 1989. Her six poetry collections are included in the single volume Gravedad. Poemas reunidos (2017; Gravity: Collected Poems). Her most recent translation is C.D. Wright’s Tiempo de enfriamiento. Una vigilia poética estadounidense (2019). She is the Graduate Adviser for the MFA in Creative Writing in Spanish at New York University, where she also teaches workshops in Poetry and Literary Translation.
