The harvesting of special forest products by Latinos and Southeast Asians in the Pacific Northwest: Preliminary observations

Abstract

Latinos and several different Southeast Asian groups have rapidly expanded their use of public lands in the Pacific Northwest for the gathering of special forest products. Issues of sustainability and conflict created by rapid growth in use need to be addressed by public land managers as a form of cross‐cultural communication.
