Centuries of creative research have opened the doors to new medical and surgical frontiers that before would not have been feasible. Medical and surgical sciences would not have climbed to the heights we know today without the perseverance and insistence of research. Research has been the driving force introducing new directions on the improvement of medicine and surgery.
