Abstract

We have studied the effects of hydrostatic pressure and/or temperature on the catalytic activity of Horse Liver Alcohol Dehydrogenase (HLADH). The Vmax, Km and thermo-dynamical activation volume were determined versus pressure in the range of 0.1 to 225 MPa at ambient temperature (29°C) and at the optimal temperature of HLADH (53°C).
