Abstract
We have studied by X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering techniques samples of industrial diamond powder (20–28μm) after graphitization at 1600–1900°C at normal pressure. The results obtained show the presence of graphite crystallites compressed along c or a axes along with the ordinary graphite and residual diamond.
