Reaching Out to Colleagues: Starting a Special Interest Group for Business and Economics Librarianship

Abstract

This article discusses how the Special Interest Group (SIG) of Business and Economics Librarianship got started in New York City. The author explores some of his outreach strategies in promoting this group, and past and upcoming programming ideas. This experience may offer readers creative ideas for starting their own SIG.
