Jong-Seok Shin

Is a senior project engineer at CGN & Associates. Currently, he consults to the Building Construction Products Division of Caterpillar, Inc. to achieve reliability objectives. He received a Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in industrial engineering from Honk-Ik University, Seoul, Korea. His research interests are in QFD, quality in product and process design, multicriteria decision making, concurrent engineering, and information technology.

Kwang-Jae Kim

Is an associate professor of industrial engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology, Pohang, Korea. He received a B.S. in industrial engineering from Seoul National University. He received an M.S. degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and a Ph.D. degree in management from Krannert Graduate School of Management, Purdue University. His research interests are in the areas of quality in product and process design, statistical methods in quality assurance, multi-criteria decision making, and fuzzy set modeling in operations research.
