Present address: Department of Statistics, University of Michigan, 4062 Frieze Bldg., Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1285 Is a faculty member in the Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research Unit of Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore. He holds a master's degree in quality, reliability, and operations research and a bachelor's degree in production engineering and management. He is a consultant to various industries in the field of statistical process control, design of experiments, and optimization techniques
