Gary S. Wasserman

Gary Wasserman is an associate professor in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He received his Ph.D. in 1986 from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta in industrial and systems engineering, specializing in the area of statistical quality control. Dr. Was-serman's research interests span the areas of reliability and quality assurance, with special interests in the development and implementation of new methods for improving product reliability. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Florida, and certified in both quality and reliability by the ASQ, and elected a Fellow of ASQ in 1998. He is also an author of an upcoming book,Reliability Verification,Testing, and Analysis in Engineering Design.
