Analyzing Unreplicated Gauge R&R Studies

Pages 543-551 | Published online: 24 Sep 2012

ABSTRACT

In this article, we show how to analyze an unreplicated gauge repeatability and reproducibility (R&R) study and show the limitations caused by the lack of replication. We use a Bayesian approach and demonstrate it with studies in which the true part or item values either are unknown or known. WinBUGS code is provided for these examples.
