Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the throughput of wireless mobile Ad-Hoc networks with directional antennas at 60 GHz unlicensed band. A new model is proposed to characterize the performance of directional antennas operating in millimeter-wave frequency bands. Based on this, we introduce an appropriate interference model and derive a lower bound on the throughput capacity of millimeter-wave wireless Ad-Hoc networks. Monte-Carlo simulation is conducted to evaluate the validity of the analytical results.
