Word lengths in the letters of the Chilean author Gabriela Mistral*

Abstract

In this study the frequencies of word lengths have been evaluated in twenty letters of the Spanish‐speaking author Gabriela Mistral. The aim was to find out whether the distribution of word length behaves in an orderly or disorderly way (Wimmer, Köhler, Grotjahn, & Altmann, 1994).
