Abstract
Following a short historical review of methods of depicting finger placement on the bassoon, a new polyphonic finger notation, the “Bassonographie”, is introduced. This notation shows not only the placement of the fingers, but also the changes inside the instrument. Since a specific mechanical alteration in sound, and both alterations can be seen with the help of “Bassonographie”, it fulfils all the requirements of a polyphonic notation.
The comparison of six fingering diagrams and the composition “anagen 11/81” confirm this contention.
ZUSAMMENFASSUNG
In diesem Artikel wird nach einem kurzen Überblick über historische Aufzeichnungen von Griffen für Fagott und Basson eine Klangfarbengriffschrift, die “Bassonographie”, vorgestellt. Klangfarbengriffschrift deshalb, weil sie nicht nur die Griffaktion, sondern gleichzeitig den ’Zustand im Schallstück des Instrumentes veranschaulicht. Mit ihrer Hilfe wird es möglich, Mehrklänge und veränderte Einzeltöne sowohl nach Grifftypen als auch nach ihrem Klangcharakter zu ordnen. Eine Gegenüberstellung von sechs Griffschriften und die Komposition “anagen 11/81” erhärten die Argumentation.
