Abstract
In the present study, the genus Gynecaptera Skorikov, Citation1935 is recorded from the Arabian Peninsula for the first time, with a nocturnal new species, G. arabica Soliman & Gadallah, which has been collected from the Riyadh region in Saudi Arabia and which is described and illustrated.
