V. Staudt
Dr.-Ing. V. Staudt (1962), VDE, IEEE, studied electrical engineering at the Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany, receiving his Dipl.-Ing. degree in 1987 and his Dr.-Ing. degree in 1993. Since 1988 he is with the Institute for Generation and Application of Electrical Energy at the Ruhr-University Bochum. His main fields of research are: power definitions; compensation strategies; description and analysis of measured quantities; theory and control of asynchro nous machines.
