Fractal structures for optical applications feasible with 2D nanotechnology

Pages 199-204 | Received 31 May 2011, Accepted 25 Aug 2011, Published online: 21 Oct 2011

Abstract

In this paper three different types of fractals will be defined which can be easily fabricated at high nanoscale resolution using the standard lithographic technique. The structures obtained in this way are suitable for modern applications in the field of metamaterials intended to revolutionise present optical devices.
