Packaging science for a reference series

Book series provide a readily available source of scientific information to the public. However, the standard trade methods of sale and distribution are not necessarily the most effective means of marketing science books. The experience of the authors in editing and ‘packaging’ a science series which has been sold through direct marketing methods illustrates the possibilities.
