Modelling the thermal process in centrifugal bimetallizing of the internal surface of sleeves

Abstract

One of the possible processes to obtain bimetallic components of the axisymmetric body form is the arc-heating centrifugal method. On obtaining bimetals using this process, it is necessary to control temperature on the melt–base boundary. Dependence is established between the temperature on the work surface and on the melt–base interaction surface, which may be controlled by a pyrometer.
