Abstract

The conditions of stability of a thin edge in lap welding of components with a large difference in the thickness using the continuous arc in argon with continuous penetration are determined. A mathematical model of the temperature field in welding with continuous penetration of a thin edge using the phenomenon of the delay of the anode spot of the arc in relation to the electrode axis is proposed.
