Effect of activating composite electrode coatings on the properties of the arc in CO₂ welding

Abstract

The results of investigations of the technological and physical properties of the arc in MAG CO₂ welding with reversed polarity current using electrode wires with activating microcomposite coatings based on a copper matrix and halide-containing salts of alkali and alkali-earth metals are presented.
