Technological characteristics of electrodes with an exothermic mixture coating for surfacing of tool steels

Abstract

Experimental results show that exothermic reactions in the stage of heating and melting of an electrode coating take place when the content of the exothermic mixture in the coating is higher than 35%. The results of investigations of the content of the exothermic mixture in the electrode coating on the melting parameters are presented.
