Investigation of the process of drawing flux-cored wire for welding copper to steel

Abstract

A mathematical model of the stress–strain state in drawing flux-cored wire, which takes into account the actual distribution of geometrical parameters, mechanical properties, and the conditions of contact friction at the bottom of the deformation zone, is developed. The model also takes into account the possibility of plastic deformation of the sheath.
