Abstract

Experimental equipment and the method of measuring the effective coefficient of hydrogen diffusion in the conditions of the thermal cycle of welding are described. The temperature dependences of the coefficient for ferritic–pearlitic, martensitic, bainitic, maraging and austenitic steels, reflecting the special features of the chemical composition and structural transformations in the welding conditions, are determined.
