Electroslag strip electrode surfacing of components for nuclear and petrochemical plants using special fluxes

Abstract

The results of investigations of single- and two-electrode electroslag surfacing under new ceramic fluxes are described. Technology is developed and advantages of the single- and two-electrode electroslag strip electrode surfacing in the deposition of single- or two-layer corrosion-resisting coatings on the internal surfaces of equipment are indicated.
