Thermoplastic hardening of metallic surfaces of welded and hardfaced components

Abstract

The results of comparison of the quality of treatment of the surfaces of shafts by circular grinding and the thermodynamic method in the repair of worn components of engineering systems are presented. An experimental method is proposed. Special attention is given to the effect of the grinding conditions and thermodynamic treatment on the quality of the surface layer (the surface roughness parameters) of the component.
