Abstract

The results of investigations of the effect of the tip angle of the tungsten lanthanized electrode on the stability of the depth of penetration in welding in argon are presented. The studies concerned with this subject and the recommendations in the literature on the grinding of the tip of the tungsten electrode are analysed. The experimental method, equipment and materials are described.
