Effect of the method of edge preparation on the mechanical properties of laser welded joints in thin wall titanium shells

Abstract

VT1-0 titanium alloy was used to investigate the effect of the methods of edge reparation on the quality and mechanical properties of laser welded joints in thin sheet structures and to prepare recommendations for the application of the most efficient variants.
