Abstract

The results of investigations of the effect of zinc on the processes of wetting and spreading of aluminium on steel are presented. The effect of zinc on the thickness of the intermetallic layer, formed during the process of liquid-phase aluminizing of steel, and on the bonding strength of the layers, is determined.
