Metal-powder wires for mechanized and automatic gas-shielded welding of low-carbon and low-alloy steels

Abstract

The advantages of metal-powder wires in comparison with solid section and flux-cored wires are described and the efficiency of using these wires in construction of buildings resistant to earthquakes, shipbuilding, bridge construction, vehicle construction, the manufacture of high-pressure vessels, hardfacing, etc., is discussed.
