Abstract
The results of comparison of the methods for evaluating the initial resistance of electrode–electrode and component–component sections in the period preceding resistance spot microwelding of components are presented. In the development of resistance spot welding (RSW) conditions, it is important to confirm by experiments the resultant calculated values of the electrode–electrode and component–component resistances because they are greatly scattered.
