Optimization of the main parameters of resistance butt welding of large pressed profiles made of aluminium alloys

Abstract

The main parameters of the conditions of resistance butt welding (RBW), influencing the stability of the melting process and the quality of the welded joints, are examined. Criteria for optimization of the RBW conditions are selected. The stability of the optimized conditions of RBW of large pressed profiles of aluminium alloys is analysed.
